Celebrate New Hampshire Eat Local Month With The Acworth Village Store

Throughout the month of August, The Acworth Village Store joins with 50 partners throughout the state to highlight New Hampshire Eat Local Month — a month-long celebration of local food and New Hampshire farmers and producers. NH Eat Local Month also coincides with National Farmers’ Market Week, honoring farmers’ markets all across America.

“New Hampshire residents and visitors, alike, are showing unprecedented interest in local food, and this month-long celebration offers a great opportunity to feature New Hampshire grown foods and farms,” said Gail McWilliam Jellie from the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food.

As part of the NH Eat Local Month festivities, The Acworth Village Store (located at 1068 Route 123A, South Acworth, NH) will be presenting these events:

  • There is our very popular Saturday Night Pizza Night, which is every Saturday Night from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Enjoy freshly made pizza from our outdoor clay oven and listen to live local music.
  • We also will be hosting our annual Harvest Dinner, on August 19th, featuring a flavorful gourmet menu created with locally sourced ingredients.

The Acworth Village Store is open Monday-Saturday from 7am-7pm and Sundays from 8am-7 pm. The phone number there is 603-835-6547. They offer many services including an ATM and a US Post Office. Second Annual Locavore Festival: A Food Tasting Event

beetimage

The Acworth Village Store has an exciting event planned for August 27, 2017 from 10am-4pm, and they want YOU to be included in the fun as an exhibitor/vendor, sponsor or speaker!

They are hosting our second annual Acworth Locavore Festival.

From the Organizing Committee:

What is a Locavore Festival?

It’s a public event to showcase local food and beverage producers and local “farm to table” restaurants which will connect local food lovers and consumers to what is being locally grown and produced.

We know your passion for locally produced food and beverage and we’d love to have you participate in this festival by showing, sampling and selling to the public what you produce. This is an opportunity to sell your products and make yourself known to a wider audience. This is a huge celebration of what our greater geographic area has to offer in the way of healthy, sustainable, locally cultivated and passionately produced food and beverage. We’d also like you to be able to supply samples, to the public who will be attending this event, so they can see, smell, taste and experience that passion.

Contact us to obtain a vendor application form so you can fill it out, send in your payment and join us this August. It promises to be a fabulous opportunity for local producers and just a fun time for all!

We have many opportunities for advertising and exposure in this event for vendors. Besides having table space to exhibit your products, we are also offering speaking/presentation/demonstration time slots within our big tent for you to speak to the public about your products.

Although we will be mentioning all vendors in our festival booklet with a short description and showing your booth placement on the festival map, we also have opportunities for you to specifically advertise in our festival booklet with different sized ads.

Finally, we are offering an opportunity for special sponsorship of the event which will afford each sponsor a booth, a speaking slot, a full page ad in the festival guide plus additional exposure of your logo on all of our advertising materials, including links on our website, along with a mention of your business in any media articles about our event.

If you have any questions about the event, or are interested in a sponsorship, please contact Linda Lacasse at 603-835-2486 or email linda@lacasseenterprise.com.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee for the Acworth Locavore Festival we want to offer our thanks for all that you do to provide healthy sustenance for the local community.
